Video pochade II
In exploring the history of everyday mediums, we’re captivated by analog relics—film photography, vinyl, camcorders, and audio cassettes. The shift to digital, both in content creation and consumption, has streamlined access but at the cost of contrast and depth. Seeking to reclaim elements like shadows, perspectives, and creative nuance, we experiment with stylistic exercises. One example draws inspiration from social media’s archives: “In 1980, a Japanese journalist filmed an iPhone.” This reflects a fascination with blending eras, imagining how past technologies might interact with today’s innovations, offering a richer, layered approach to digital storytelling.
